Bryan Neider is a dynamic C-level executive with more than 35 years of experience spanning global operations, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and nonprofit leadership. As CEO of AbilityPath, AbilityPath Housing, and Camp Via West, he leads three nonprofit organizations dedicated to empowering children and adults with developmental disabilities and advancing full inclusion.

Bryan brings extensive expertise in organizational transformation, financial stewardship, strategic mergers, nonprofit governance, and organizational strategy. Under his leadership, the organizations have doubled revenue, expanded critical services, and completed five strategic mergers while maintaining and growing service capacity.

He has also led a major brand evolution, strengthened advocacy efforts to secure long-term funding, and modernized service delivery through technology integration and improvements in program quality. His leadership combines strong business expertise with a mission-driven approach focused on sustainable growth and meaningful community impact.

Nonprofit Leadership and Community Service

Bryan has extensive governance experience through leadership roles across the Bay Area nonprofit sector. He serves as Board Chair of Thrive Alliance of Nonprofits of San Mateo County, where he has helped advance collaborative solutions to challenges facing the regional nonprofit community. He is also a founding board member of the Leadership Council of San Mateo.

Bryan previously served as Board Chair of the Santa Clara University Board of Regents, where he drew on his connection to his alma mater to support its educational mission and strengthen governance. Through these leadership roles, he has developed deep expertise in nonprofit sustainability, collaborative leadership, governance, and cross-sector partnerships.

Technology, AI, and Innovation

A frequent speaker on nonprofit leadership and the strategic use of technology, Bryan shares his expertise with organizations seeking to improve their operations and increase mission impact. His areas of focus include organizational transformation, artificial intelligence (AI) in social services, technology integration, and nonprofit governance best practices.

Bryan is particularly interested in how emerging technologies can help nonprofits improve services and operate more effectively while maintaining their organizational values and mission. He recently completed advanced certifications in AI from Vanderbilt University and in AI and Machine Learning for Healthcare from Stanford University.

Corporate Leadership Experience

Before entering nonprofit leadership, Bryan spent more than 25 years at Electronic Arts (EA), where he held senior leadership positions managing multi-billion-dollar profit-and-loss operations and leading complex mergers and acquisitions. He also oversaw companywide initiatives focused on operational efficiency, product quality, business innovation, and organizational performance.

Bryan brings this extensive corporate experience to his nonprofit leadership, combining strategic business expertise with a strong commitment to social impact and community service.

He earned a BA in History from Santa Clara University and an MBA from California State University, East Bay. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
