Reaching the Most At-Risk Community Members with the Stroke Awareness Message
Through a partnership with the City of San Jose, we reached over 2,400 participants in 2024 alone at 14 local community centers. By focusing on recognizing BE FAST stroke symptoms, understanding the importance of quick action, dialing 911, seeking transport to stroke-certified hospitals, and learning about stroke prevention, we are improving the chances of a positive outcome. We’re advancing health equity and equipping our community with critical stroke education to improve health outcomes right here in Santa Clara County.
